Accompanist's Note Rachael
has been Benfleet Operatic’s Accompanist for 6 years. She is the regular
accompanist for Basildon Operatic and has also played for Rayleigh
Operatic and The Three Sopranos. She recently was Musical Director for That
Masked Man’s production of “Rodgers and ...”. Rachael
started playing the piano aged 7 and studied at Birmingham University for her
Bachelor of Music Degree, specialising in singing and accompanying. Whilst in
Birmingham she was repetiteur for Mid Wales Opera. Rachael is Deputy Headteacher
at a local primary school and has recently finished studying for her MA (Ed)
degree. Benfleet
