Producer's Note

While specialising in Directing as part of my BA (hons) in Drama at University I realised this was what I wanted to do! After graduating I stage-managed several plays at various Fringe venues in London, also operating lights and sound. I am currently Production Manager and Course Administrator at The Circus Space in Hoxton, London, which houses the only Circus Degree in the country. I am also joint Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the Theatre Company “Two little Ducks”. I have written several short plays and directed a short radio piece. Having seen several of Benfleet Operatic Society Productions I have been looking forward to working with them and they haven’t let me down. It has been a very enjoyable experience!

Musical Director's Note

Clare graduated in Music from Royal Holloway University in 1996, but has only fairly recently become a musical director. She is now involved with a number of local societies as MD, including Thurrock Thameside Musical Society, Two Faced Productions as well as BOS, and as rehearsal pianist for Basildon Operatic Society. Recent shows include Copacabana, Hello Dolly and The Pajama Game. Clare is currently working on South Pacific for TTMS. Clare also works at Adagio School of Dance as an accompanist and singing teacher.
