Rob Mitchell - Fagin Having
been involved in almost every BOS production since his first at the age of 5,
Rob has enjoyed many varied parts. Favourites to date are Harold Hill in the
Music Man and Lord Chancellor in Iolanthe. He also enjoys being part of the
chorus where every performance is different - "I get to mess around and
have a laugh while the attention is on someone else!" Having played Bill
Sykes in the Society's last performance of Oliver!, Rob is looking forward to
playing the role of Fagin. |
Alwen Futter - Nancy Alwen first became involved with BOS as a young girl when her Mum belonged to the Society. She joined as a member in 1995 and since then has enjoyed playing the parts of Julie Jordan (Carousel), Marion (The Music Man), Sister Sarah (Guys n’ Dolls) and Ruth (The Card). Last year she had to polish her Tap Shoes after many years to dance as an Angel in ‘Anything Goes’! Her daughter joins us this year for Oliver making it three generations of the family. Alwen says "I’m sure she and all the children will have a great time in Oliver. Good luck to one and all". |

Dave Roberts - Mr. Bumble Dave has been a member of BOS since 1960 and appeared in their very first stage production of "The Sorcerer" as Hercules the page boy. Jill

|
Rob Gray - Mr Sowerberry This is Rob's third show with the Society since returning for Anything Goes, but marks over 25 years of singing with BOS. Rob's first principal part with BOS was Mr Goldbury in G&S's Utopia in 1974 when he was cast as understudy, but had to step in late in rehearsals. |
Peter Robinson - Noah Claypole Peter rejoined BOS last year after a three year break for university. He's looking forward to playing a mean part after appearing in Pirates in a top hat and umbrella which made him look like John from Peter Pan! |
